Welcome to Just Kids Speech Pathology

Just Kids Speech Pathology is a professional home-based practise located in Atwell, WA.  I have over 20 years experience, both as a Senior Speech Pathologist in the health department and in private practice.

Working from home has allowed me to create a warm, professional environment that is often less daunting for little ones than visiting a clinic centre.  I focus on making therapy as much fun as possible whilst providing information and support for parents.

Services

As an Early Intervention specialist, I work with children aged 0 - 6 years.  I have extensive experience in:

  • Early intervention with children under 18 months of age
  • Working with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (also known as Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia)
  • Articulation / Speech Sound Disorders
  • Expressive Language Delays / Disorders (including problems with vocabulary, grammar and pragmatic skills)
  • Comprehension Delays / Disorders (including difficulty following instructions, answering questions or understanding concepts)
  • Global Developmental Delay
  • Pre-Literacy Skills (Phonological Awareness and early literacy)
  • Second Opinion Assessments
  • Referral to Language Development Centres
